The Long Road reveals the many countless tragedies that have occurred and continue to occur. There are more people on the move than ever before – and there is no reason to believe that this number will fall in the near future. Many of the key drivers of displacement – protracted conflict, failed states, human rights violations, climate change – continue to rage, across the world.

Ali Hoca Point was made as a way of documenting the tragic loss of life of people seeking refuge and safety at Ali Hoca Point in 2017. "Every person I talk to here on the boat knowingly puts their lives at risk and they literally tell me it's in the hands of god, if I'm supposed to die - I will die, but anything is better than stay in this place where I was before".
